Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Phoenux Design (“Phoenux,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit phoenux.design, contact us, or otherwise interact with our studio online. Phoenux Design operates from Toronto, Canada and Lahore, Pakistan, and works primarily with clients in the United States, Canada, and other markets.
Who we are
Phoenux Design is a product design studio. Our contact email for privacy questions is hello@phoenux.design. If you are a client under a separate master services agreement or statement of work, that agreement may include additional confidentiality and data-handling terms that govern project work.
Information we collect
You provide information when you submit our contact form (name, email, company, challenge type, message, and privacy consent). We may also receive optional attribution data such as UTM parameters, landing page, and audience or industry tags you select. If you email us directly, we process the content of that correspondence. We do not require an account to browse the marketing site.
Technical and analytics data
Like most websites, we automatically receive standard technical data from your browser or device (for example IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP). Analytics tools load only after you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. Depending on configuration, that may include Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and/or PostHog. Necessary site functions and Core Web Vitals measurement may run without analytics consent. You can change cookie preferences anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.
How we use information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, evaluate fit, prepare estimates, improve the website and our services, secure the site, and meet legal obligations. Contact-form leads may be stored in our CRM tools (currently HubSpot and/or GoHighLevel when configured) and may notify our team via Slack. We do not use your inquiry content to train public generative AI models.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We share data with service providers who help us operate the site and studio under appropriate agreements — for example hosting (Vercel), CRM and marketing platforms, analytics providers you consented to, email infrastructure, and internal communication tools. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. Client project files are handled under separate confidentiality terms and are not published without permission.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a first-party consent preference stored in your browser (localStorage key related to Phoenux consent) so we remember Accept or Necessary only. Analytics and certain marketing scripts mount only after Accept. Strictly necessary cookies or local storage required for security, consent memory, and basic site operation may be used regardless of analytics choice.
International transfers
We and our providers may process data in Canada, the United States, Pakistan, the European Union, and other countries where our vendors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Retention
We keep inquiry and CRM records for as long as needed to respond, manage a relationship, or meet legal and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s settings and our operational needs.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise rights or ask a question, email hello@phoenux.design. You may also withdraw analytics consent via Cookie settings. You can unsubscribe from marketing email if we send any (project communications are not the same as marketing lists).
Children
Our site and services are directed to businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
