Web Design & UX
Content and architecture before pixels. Distinctive, responsive interfaces with a system behind them.
→ Learn more about Web Design & UXCreation is Phoenux's product design and build practice. Interfaces, MVPs, systems, and modernization that teams can ship and extend.
It sits between Clarity (the brief) and Discovery (reach when you need it). If you are hiring Phoenux, you are usually hiring Creation.
Most serious work fits two doors: Launch a credible product, or Rebuild one that no longer matches the business. We name the door early so scope and duration stay honest.
A product can ship on schedule, pass a stakeholder review, and still lose the user on day three. Support fills with "where do I…?" tickets. Sales demos hide journeys that break in production. Every squad invents its own UI because there is no system. AI features get bolted on and erode trust because the base UX was never designed for failure.
Creation exists to fix the product, structure, states, system, and build path: not to decorate a roadmap that is already wrong.
Naming the door early keeps estimates honest. Most Creation engagements start from one of these:
Content and architecture before pixels. Distinctive, responsive interfaces with a system behind them.

Focused sprints often run 1–3 weeks. Defined product projects run weeks to a few months with phased journeys. See Rates for how we size.
1. Name Launch vs Rebuild: align on the door, the paying journey, and what is explicitly out. *Deliverable: scope thesis + cut list.* 2. Map the journey: structure, content jobs, states before polish. Often informed by Clarity research or a UX Audit. *Deliverable: journey inventory, wires, or audit findings.* 3. Design states and system: UI, components, microcopy where needed. *Deliverable: hi-fi UI, component notes, content patterns.* 4. Handoff or build: specs eng can trust, or implementation on custom, low-code, or no-code with migration notes. *Deliverable: handoff package and/or shipped surface.* 5. Retro: what worked, what to cut, what to buy next. *Deliverable: recommendation memo.*
We do not disappear after Figma. The goal is something your team can ship and extend.
SaaS buyers: start at For SaaS.
Logo packs, graphic design retainers, or "SEO agency with design bolted on." Design is the core. Discovery is optional reach after the product is real. We are not a branding shop and we do not pretend keyword campaigns are product design.
Creation is for teams who treat product design as a product problem. Journeys, states, systems, and honest build paths. If you want decoration after the roadmap is frozen, or a slide deck with no ship plan, we are the wrong studio.
AI features are product UX, not a bolted-on chat widget. We design intent architecture, disclosure and undo patterns, and evaluation hooks so production states — empty, partial, wrong, rate-limited — are recoverable.
Chat as the primary surface → Conversational AI. Agents that take actions → Agentic Workflow UX. Readiness first → UX Audit + AI Readiness.
Creation is product design and build. Web UX, product interfaces, MVPs, UX audits, legacy modernization, design systems, honest no/low-code, and AI product UX. It is the core of the studio.
Both. We take work from wireframes through handoff or a working build, choosing the lightest appropriate technology, custom, low-code, or no-code: without fashion-driven lock-in.
Launch is a new or early product / MVP. Rebuild is a live product or site that no longer matches the business or fails in real use. Naming the door early keeps scope and timeline honest.
Focused sprints are usually 1–3 weeks. Defined product projects take weeks to a few months depending on journey count and unknowns. We share a written estimate with assumptions, see [Rates](/rates).
No. Phoenux is a product design studio. Strategy and content brief the design. SEO/AEO/GEO are supporting Discovery when a finished product needs reach.
If the problem is fuzzy or stakeholders disagree, start with [UX Audit + AI Readiness](/services/creation/ux-audit-ai-readiness). If you need a wedge validated, pair [Research & Discovery](/services/clarity/research-discovery) with [Rapid MVP Development](/services/creation/rapid-mvp-development). If the product is live and dated, look at [Legacy UX Modernization](/services/creation/legacy-ux-modernization). We will route you on a call if you are unsure.
Yes: and often should. Clarity produces the brief. Creation ships the product. Content, research, and strategy are inputs, not substitutes for designing states and handoff.
Yes. Handoff eng can trust, specs, systems, behavior: is a core buying reason. We design for your stack and capacity, not for a portfolio screenshot.
Tell us whether you are Launching or Rebuilding, the journey that pays the bills, and what "better" means in terms you track. We will propose a sprint or project with a clear cut list.
